Rock N Roll Sushi is looking for a skilled, hardworking Cook to help keep our kitchen rockin’ during every shift. In this role, you’ll work closely with the back‑of‑house team to ensure our food is prepared with consistency, quality, and speed. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy hands‑on work, and take pride in doing things the right way, you’ll fit right in with our crew.
This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow direction while keeping the energy high behind the scenes.
Job Requirements
What You Will Do
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service.
- Wash, chop, shred, and prep ingredients as needed.
- Cook menu items to order and plate dishes according to RNR Sushi’s presentation standards.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
- Complete prep lists and keep all items stocked throughout the shift.
- Assist with washing dishes, pots, and pans when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment.
- Follow shared daily cleaning schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum age: 16 years old.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Existing food safety knowledge preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with kitchen equipment.
- Team‑focused mindset and willingness to collaborate.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
