Rock N Roll Sushi is looking for a passionate Sushi Chef to help craft the unforgettable guest experiences our brand is known for. Our sushi team plays a key role in delivering fresh, consistent, high‑quality dishes while keeping the energy high in a fast‑paced environment.
If you’re hardworking, detail‑oriented, and excited to learn, you’ll fit right in with our crew. Experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person.
Job Requirements
What You Will Do
- Create positive, memorable experiences through high‑quality sushi preparation.
- Prepare a variety of sushi items, including rolls, nigiri, and sashimi.
- Follow established recipes, portion standards, and prep procedures.
- Read and manage tickets to ensure proper timing and smooth service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all dishes meet RNR Sushi’s quality and presentation standards.
- Plate items with exceptional attention to detail and consistency.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Coordinate with servers to accommodate special requests and food allergies.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
- Maintain proper stock levels and complete daily prep lists.
- Stand for extended periods and perform effectively during busy shifts.
- Follow shared daily cleaning schedules.
Job Requirements
- Minimum age: 16 years old.
- Sushi experience preferred, but we can teach you.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong teamwork mindset.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

We’re looking for a rockstar Sushi Chef to help bring the show to Mt. Juliet. With two new locations on the horizon, this is an exciting time to join the band. You’ll start with professional training at our Nashville location before stepping into your role in Mt. Juliet.
